Job DescriptionAs a Technical Support Specialist within Nokia's Networks team, you will play a critical role in managing the lifecycle and performance of our network services, including firewalls, DNS, and secure connectivity for our global offices and partners. Working in a dynamic 24x7 environment, you will troubleshoot complex network issues, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure reliable operation of IT network security services.How You Will Contribute And What You Will LearnProvide expert technical support for incident, problem, and change management across IT network technologies.Analyze and resolve production network issues while coordinating with cross-functional technical teams.Administer service requests and execute network changes for escalated or priority incidents.Own incident resolution processes, ensuring timely updates and thorough root cause analysis documentation.Design, deploy, and manage advanced firewall and SASE solutions to enhance network security.Conduct regular security assessments to maintain compliance with industry standards and propose preventive actions.Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance in network security practices.Collaborate with external service providers and OEMs for complex issue resolution and remote implementation support.Key Skills And ExperienceYou have:Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent with 12+ years of experience in network services within complex environmentsDeep knowledge in WLAN design/configuration, specifically with Aruba Access Points and ControllersProficiency in authentication protocols like RADIUS, TACACS, and LDAPStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailFamiliarity with ITIL processes and network technologies (TCP/IP, VRRP, etc.)It would be nice if you also had:Relevant certifications (e.g., ACCP, ACMA, ACCX)Knowledge of scripting and automation tools for network managementExperience in configuration and management of Cisco ISEAbout UsAbout NokiaJoin us in creating the technology that helps the world act together.We are a B2B technology innovation leader, pioneering networks that sense, think and act™, putting the world’s people, machines and devices in sync to create a more sustainable, productive and accessible future.Learn more about life at Nokia .About The Business GroupThe Strategy and Technology organization drives Nokia’s future innovation by identifying value-creation opportunities, setting a unified company vision, and developing coherent business, technology, and architecture strategies.
