We’re looking for a Technical Trainer to join our ever evolving Technology Enablement Team within the Office of the CTO and help us unleash the potential of every business. What you’ll own as the Technical TrainerThe Technical Trainer will design, develop, and deliver high-impact learning experiences that enable Worldpayers to adopt new technologies, tools, and ways of working. This role supports strategic transformation initiatives by building a future-ready workforce through scalable, engaging, and technically sound training programs.Working as part of the Technology Enablement Team within the Office of the CTO, this role is both strategic and operational in nature.Learning Strategy & DesignConduct training needs analysis and audience segmentation.Define learning objectives aligned with business outcomes.Design and develop learning journeys, curricula, and performance support tools.Apply instructional design principles and agile development methodologies.Content Development & DeliveryCreate and maintain technical learning content across multiple formats (e.g., eLearning, instructor-led, microlearning).Translate complex technical concepts into accessible learning materials.Manage content lifecycle including updates, quality assurance, and optimization.Technology & SystemsUtilize learning technologies and Learning Management Systems (LMS) for content delivery and tracking.Oversee and optimize Content Management Systems (CMS), including SharePoint, Teams, and My Worldpay pages.Ensure effective workflow management and content governance.Training ExecutionDeliver engaging training sessions and presentations to diverse audiences.Support adoption of AI tools, digital platforms, and modernization initiatives (e.g., Jira Migration, Defensive Programming, Clarity Frictionless Timesheet).Measurement & ReportingDesign and implement evaluation strategies, assessments, and quizzes.Track and report on training impact, engagement, and feedback.Use data fluency to inform continuous improvement.Stakeholder & Change ManagementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support change initiatives.Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.Drive employee engagement through effective communication and support.What you’ll bringInstructional Design & Learning Content Development Technical Communication & Concept Simplification Learning Technology Proficiency (LMS, CMS, SharePoint, Teams) Data Fluency & Impact Reporting Quality Assurance & Feedback Management Project Management (Stakeholder, Risk, Resource, Vendor) AI Training & Use Case Exploration Agile Learning Development Strategic Change Management Employee Engagement & Relationship Management About the teamTo learn more about our winning teams, check out our world-class teams that own it every day.
