The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards, and supporting 24-hour emergency maintenance coverage.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain SW/MW transmission systems and related broadcast equipment.Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and carry out preventive maintenance.Respond to service and maintenance calls as part of 24-hour technical support.Ensure all activities comply with safety, health, and environmental procedures.Handle and connect transmission cables and equipment safely according to standards.Report site issues and coordinate with line management for resolution.Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.Collaborate with internal departments to ensure operational efficiency.Requirements Education: Diploma in a technical or engineering-related discipline.Certifications (Preferred): Broadcast or RF technology certifications.Experience: Exposure to transmission systems or broadcast operations preferred.Skills:Knowledge of SW/MW transmission and RF technologies.Understanding of broadcast engineering standards.Awareness of safety, financial, and procurement procedures.Basic inventory management.Core CompetenciesService-oriented and collaborative approach.Strong communication and accountability.Technical proficiency in broadcast operations.Adherence to safety and operational excellence.
