Job Overview JOB DESCRIPTION At Weatherford, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated TRS Technician II to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various operational tasks, including equipment maintenance, functional testing, inspections, and adhering to all policies, procedures, and work instructions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities.ResponsibilitiesPerform duties according to documented Weatherford policies and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures and Work Place PracticesOperate Overdrive, Vero system, power and handling equipment within client’s time specification in compliance with Weatherford Tubular Running Service Competence Assurance System to maintain integrity of the client’s wells. Maintain Overdrive, power and handling equipment at work area within client’s time specification in compliance with Weatherford Tubular Running Service Competence Assurance System to allow equipment to be operational on location. Participate in daily operations, safety meetings, toolbox sessions, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and promptly report any issues using appropriate toolsMaintain equipment, facilities, and work areas in a presentable and safe working conditionDemonstrate knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, operational and non-operational documentation, support systems, and comply with all Technical Work InstructionsPerform functional tests, inspections, and monitoring of equipment with strict adherence to specific work instructions within your level of training and competenceInspect used parts to determine dimensional requirements, using measuring instruments such as rules, callipers, or micrometresFollow maintenance processes and procedures for unloading, disassembly, cleaning, pressure testing, visual checking, assembly, loading, and storage of tools, completing all necessary documentation as required within your level of training and competenceRig up and down equipment with strict adherence to specific work instructions within your level of training and competenceClean, lubricate, repair, and operate equipment as per work instructions within your level of training and competenceService and maintain mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic components as per work instructions within your level of training and competenceSkillsStrong critical thinking, active learning, listening, and complex problem-solving skillsGood reading and writing abilities, sound judgment, and decision-making in line with policies and proceduresEffective time management skillsProficiency in quality control analysis to ensure products meet required standardsCapability to meet the physical demands of the roleAbility to identify potential problems and understand solutionsAbility to effectively and efficiently operate tools and machinerySpatial awareness to visualize how tools and products will look when preparing for assembly, repair, or modificationsBasic computer skills (Outlook, MS Office)The required level of English is intermediate or higherQualificationsMinimum 2 years of field experience in the Oil & Gas industryHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required.Previous repair and maintenance experience with Mechanical and Hydraulic equipment is advantageAbout UsWeatherford is a leading global energy services company.
