Treasury Analyst

Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION Ensure that all sales in the retail shops are keyed in the retail management systems and are accounted for daily. Manage and ensure efficient daily Cash pick-ups and deliveries to the retail shops in an ongoing manner. Identify daily, weekly and monthly cash trends, risks, and opportunities across all sales channels and provide recommendations. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies. Analyse records related to point-of-sale transactions and ensure compliance to internal processes. Manage relationships with banks, other financial institutions and all stakeholders.

Identify and assess financial risks, including interest rates and currency rates. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies around upcoming covenants. Identify and assess and implement mitigating controls around areas of operation that may expose the business to Cash loss. Core Competencies And Experience2-5 years of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting. Prior experience in the use of oracle will be an added advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Familiarity with treasury management systems, accounting software, preferably oracle, and financial planning tools.

Familiarity with Cash Management systems, such as treasury management systems (TMS), online banking platforms and cash forecasting tools. Proficiency in building financial models, forecasting cash flows, Cash position and analyzing complex financial recordsProfessional QualificationsEssential Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. DesiredCA, ACCA, CIMA, CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or related certification
