About the role:Role : Telecom Business Analyst This role is a full-time Business Analyst role and requires interaction with a range of Customer internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several projects simultaneously, in accordance with the Customer’s requirements.Job ResponsibilitiesThis role and Key Personnel must Deliver Services including the following: Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications;Facilitate workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs to elicit Customer business needs;Collaborate with developers, testers, and solution architects to ensure clear understanding of requirements;Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and feasibility studies to support system or process changes;Assist in the development of business cases and cost-benefit analysis for proposed solutions;Support testing activities by preparing test cases, assisting with UAT, and validating outcomes against requirements;Document current and future state Customer processes, data flows, and system interactions;Ensure traceability of requirements through delivery of Services;Assist in change management and training material preparation; andStay updated on IT trends and suggest improvements to Customer systems and processes.Qualifications and RequirementsThis role and Key Personnel must have three or more years’ experience preferably working in the telecommunication industry as a business analyst in IT or technology projects, and one or several formal qualifications in:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA).Experience in system integrations, cloud-based platforms, or ERP systems.This role and the Key Personnel must:Have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (“SDLC”), including Agile and Waterfall methodologies;Be proficient in requirements elicitation techniques, documentation standards, and business process modeling;Have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills;Be familiar with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite;Have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; andHave strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.This role and Key Personnel must preferably have a background working in telecommunications core network services and activities.Additionally, the Business Analyst must possess high levels of the skills set out below to perform well in the role:Written and verbal communication skills;Capacity to manage high stress situations;Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously;Leadership skills;Attention to detail;Conflict resolution skills; andExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.“Tech Mahindra is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
