Job DescriptionJob Summary: The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for planning and executing maintenance strategies, managing spare parts inventory, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment.

This role includes creating maintenance schedules, writing technical documentation, training technicians, troubleshooting equipment, maintaining maintenance software, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The engineer also monitors equipment performance and reports on key maintenance metrics.

Detailed DescriptionSource and manage spare parts, ensuring availability and cost-efficiencySetup and optimize spare parts inventory and stock levelsDevelop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedulesTroubleshoot manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuityWrite clear and detailed maintenance instructions and equipment usage guidelinesTrain maintenance technicians on proper maintenance procedures and equipment handlingImplement best practices in maintenance and reliability engineeringMaintain and update maintenance software systems to track tasks, history, and performanceMeasure equipment reliability and analyze failure trendsReport on equipment KPIs, such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), and downtimeMonitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvementCollaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment uptime and efficiencyEnsure compliance with safety standards and maintenance protocolsHands-on approach with equipmentRequirementsDegree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial EngineeringProven experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environmentExperience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipmentAbility to write technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Experience training and mentoring technical staffFamiliarity with CMMS systems, maintenance planning tools (i.

e. AllDevice), and KPI tracking (i. e.
