About the job: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HSE Officer who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and eager to play a key role in shaping the health, safety, and environmental strategies of our company.

Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures that ensure compliance with local and international regulations;Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective actions;Lead safety training programs and ensure all employees are properly trained in health, safety, and environmental procedures;Monitor the effectiveness of health and safety initiatives and make recommendations for improvements;Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents to determine causes and recommend corrective measures;Ensure timely reporting of safety statistics and support senior management in health and safety reporting to stakeholders;Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and continuous improvement of safety practices;Maintain a culture of safety across all company operations, promoting awareness and safe working practices;Act as the point of contact for external regulatory bodies and ensure the company meets all safety compliance requirements.

To succeed in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

A degree or relevant certification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field;Strong knowledge of local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations;Ability to conduct safety audits and assessments and implement corrective actions;Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate and influence employees at all levels;Strong analytical skills — able to identify hazards and evaluate risks effectively;Fluent in both written and spoken English;Ability to build and maintain a strong safety culture within a team;Certification in health, safety, and environmental management is a plus.
