This dynamic and rapidly growing program offers a B.S. degree in Health Science with concentrations in community health, healthcare management, and radiologic technology. Candidates may need to be available to begin teaching on short notice. The Fall term begins in late August and ends in mid-December; the Spring term begins mid-January and ends in mid-May. Opportunities for teaching during the Summer Sessions may also be available.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to teaching, course preparation, syllabus preparation, academic advising, and career advising.QualificationsRequired QualificationsA Master’s degree in the field relevant to the curriculum or related discipline.Preferred QualificationsA doctorate in the field relevant to the curriculum or related discipline.Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching.Experience in teaching undergraduates from diverse ages, socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds.Employment Requirement Satisfactory completion of a background check (including a criminal records check) is required for employment. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Most new lecturers are hired at the Lecturer A or B rank.
