Position OverviewAs a Game Engine Programmer Intern at LightSpeed Studios, Tencent, you will work closely with our world-class game development teams to create cutting edge technologies that enhance performance and streamlined toolset. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and gain hands-on experience in an industry-leading company, learn the skills needed to begin career in gaming and interactive 3D. Responsibilities- Fixing bugs and solving technical issues. - Collaborate with game content creators and developers to work features on Tools, Rendering, Animation, Physics, gameplay or data science.
- Learn and stay up-to-date advanced features in UE5 and their practical applications in real game projects. - Develop and optimize physics systems for both real-time and offline simulations. Qualifications: - Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Math, or Physics. - Strong understanding of 3D Math principles and their applications. - Proficiency in C++, other relevant programming languages is plus. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. - A passion for video games and a desire to create unforgettable player experiences. Plus: - Publications on computer programming, graphics/vision, math, machine learning, and robotics.
- Past experiences working on published games or applications. - Familiarity with game engine (e. g. , Unreal Engine, Unity), graphics APIs, and GPU programming.
