Role OverviewWe are seeking a Tendering Engineer to join our contracting and smart-building division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive technical and financial proposals, analyzing project requirements, and coordinating with suppliers and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely submissions.Key Responsibilities • Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify scope, requirements, and deliverables. • Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bills of quantities (BOQs) for electrical, mechanical, or architectural works. • Coordinate with the procurement, design, and project management teams to ensure alignment on technical and commercial aspects. • Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate quotations and delivery terms. • Compile and submit complete tender packages, including technical, financial, and compliance documentation, before deadlines. • Conduct value engineering to optimize cost competitiveness without compromising quality. • Follow up on submitted tenders and assist in contract negotiation and award phases. • Maintain a database of suppliers, subcontractors, and historical pricing for reference and benchmarking.Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in architecture • 2–5 years of experience in tendering, estimation, or costing in contracting, fit-out, or MEP projects. • Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software. • Familiarity with design-build, FIDIC, or government tender procedures is a plus. • Excellent analytical, communication, and time-management skills. • High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
