This role has responsibility for the entire country of Hungary and the full portfolio of BioMarin's products within the Enzyme Therapy and Skeletal Business Units.About CommercialOur Commercial organization leads our global sales and marketing strategies around the world. Our integrated team continues to solidify BioMarin’s commercial presence in the United States and Europe and is rapidly growing in other regions, such as Latin America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. SUMMARYUnder the direction and guidance of the Sales Lead-Associate Director EEC, the Territory Manager Hungary will be responsible for providing support to the business in the area, ensuring an effective accomplishment of the goals defined for the country. Responsibilities and functional oversight to include commercial operations and supply chain, promotional activities, marketing operations, regulatory and market access and relationship management and institutional relations.RESPONSIBILITIESContribute to the definition of the strategy, goals, forecast and budget in the country.Collaborate in the definition and implementation of the strategy for maximizing the goals for the country, developing competencies and processes as required to create effectiveness and efficacyManage the territory in a selling range of designated products, planning the use of resources in medium and long-term to meet targets e.g. budget, human resource and product planningDefine and oversee activities related to marketing and promotion of BioMarin products in the countyProvide support to the market access activities in the country, including national and regional price/reimbursement negationsWork closely for relationship management, institutional relations, Patients’ Groups and KOL engagementWork collaboratively with Central Functions as appropriateIn accordance with company standard requirements, report any adverse event or any safety information associated with a BioMarin product.Distribution of educational materials to Healthcare ProfessionalsDocument distribution of materials to, and confirmation of receipt of materials by, the Healthcare ProfessionalsEducate Healthcare Professionals on the educational materials provided by BioMarin Other duties as assigned by the Sales Lead-Associate Director EECEDUCATIONPharmacist or MD or BS/BA degree in life sciences Minimum of 5 years Sales-experience in the pharmaceutical or Biotech sectorExpereince in innovative product-areas, preferred for hospital drugs in specialist indicationsExperience with rare diseases highly desirable EXPERIENCE & SKILLSGood skills in English as well as effective communication skills in the local language Familiarity with basic regulatory requirements, particularly sales and marketing activities as well as pharmacovigilanceGood understanding of Health Care Systems including financing and public health policyFlexible, dedicated, ability to recognize customers’ needs, open in communicationCommercial and customer-oriented thinkingAbility to discuss problems and solutions with KOLs, and scientific societiesKnowledge of Rare Disease space is a clear advantage, but not mandatoryMobility to travel up to 70% of working timeCar driving licenseAbility to work well in a team as well as independently Note: This description is not intended to be all-inclusive, or a limitation of the duties of the position.
