Job OverviewFulham Prep School are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and inspiring Learning Support Assistant to join the school in September 2025. The Learning Support Assistant will be sporting two individual students in Year 7 and Year 8 at the Prep School. The role will be based at the Prep site. Key Responsibilities Supervising learning and unstructured time activities such as breaks and trips and providing support under the direction of a teacher, for both pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities; Preparing and using equipment and resources required to meet the lesson plans and relevant learning activities and assisting pupils in their use; Ensuring both pupils have appropriate access to opportunities to learn and develop; Work with individual pupils/ small groups to deliver learning programmes; Encouraging pupils to interact with others and engage in activities; Providing feedback to pupils in relation to the progress and achievement, social and emotional development and interaction under the guidance of the teacher; Facilitate daily routines as and when needed; Support social and emotional development through positive interactions.
Creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment in accordance with lesson plans; Liaise with staff, parents, and external professionals and attend āteam around childā meetings;The Ideal Candidate Will HaveHave an enhanced DBS and prohibition order clearancePrevious teaching or LSA experiencePartake in training on safeguarding, prevent duty and personal welfareBe aware of safeguarding policies
