If you're interested in changing the way we approach medical safety, this is the place to be!The JobAs a Test and Verification Engineer, you will be part of our team that ensures functionality and quality of both new products and improvements to existing ones. You’ll be involved early in the development and change cycle to plan and prepare verification needs, collaborate with the team to build toward the final product, and ensure it meets our customers’ high demands. You will also be responsible for producing the reporting needed to demonstrate compliance with all requirements.Who You AreYou are analytical and have outstanding problem-solving skills. You can quickly grasp and deconstruct complex problems and opportunities. You’re hands-on and enjoy experimentation to challenge our products and prove compliance to specifications and requirements.You hold a technical university degree, likely a Master's, and have relevant work experience. A good understanding of electronics, firmware, and software is important, as it’s all part of the product you will test.We are especially looking for someone who can take a lead role in test planning and execution, and who has experience guiding and mentoring others in verification activities. For questions about the recruitment process, contact our recruiter.QualificationsA university degree in physics, engineering, computer science, electronics or similarAt least three years of experience with product test and verificationExperience in leading or coordinating test activities and mentoring othersPractical with a hands-on mentalityExperience in creating high-quality technical documentationFamiliarity with tools like Jama, Jira, and Python for scriptingSkilled in using electrical test instruments such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, and calibratorsExperience with products involving electronics, mechanics, and embedded softwareHas been part of taking a product from idea to marketExperience with X-ray technology or the MedTech industry is a merit but not a requirementFluent in Swedish and English is a requirementFortive Corporation OverviewFortive’s essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
