Test Engineer

Job Title: Test EngineerLocation: Strasbourg (80% onsite/20% remote)Job Type: Contract B2B/Freelancer Daily Rate: €450 per day for onsite work/€350 for the remote days workedWe have an exciting opportunity to join a very long term project at a at an European Union Institution based 80% of the year in Strasbourg/20% working remote. We are looking for a Test Engineer who has experience in the following fields:Minimum 6 years of relevant IT experienceMinimum 4 years of automated and manual software testing experience, and experience with Automation Testing tools (e.g., TOSCA), Test Management tool (Qtest, QC), Requirements and Defect Management tools (Jira)Keen interest on quality and intense attention to detailAbility to analyse results of testing correctly and to report on them efficientlyKnowledge of software development and testing methodologiesTasks will include:Produce test design specifications – test cases, the applicable Test Plans and to execute the test plansDesign test scenarios to ensure 100% coverage of requirements; prepare test cases (the ones which cannot be automated) and automated test scripts to test the identified scenariosConduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by Lot 2 is defect-freeExecute the required test cases and analyse the resultsReport on the test resultsThe daily rate before tax for remote and onsite are below:Onsite rate = €450.00Remote rate = €350.00Are the daily rates ok for you?Are you ok to work 80% of the year onsite in Strasbourg?Are you ok to work as a B2B freelancer?Does this sound of interest to you?
