Our collaboration extends across a diverse array of programs and platforms, including major military prime contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon.POSITION SUMMARY:Test Engineer is responsible to provide direction for the completion of test systems and to ensure compliance to contractual test requirements through the development and execution of test plans and procedures of electrical testing devices and benches to execute product testing.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:Perform the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, harnesses, instruments, and electro-mechanical assembliesRead and understand technical drawings, procedures, and Mil-Spec industry standardsPrepare, perform and compile reports for tests including data analysis, results, test validation and verification execute production and R&D product and systems acceptance test plan as assignedSupport engineering in writing test procedures and train test techniciansPerform test incident failure analysis and root cause investigationEnsure proper test-related documentation is completed, verified, and approvedSupport development of new test systems and protocolsAbility to use various electrical test and measurement equipment as related to performing job dutiesSKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:Electrical technician degree (B.A.), B.S. in Electrical Engineering is highly preferredA minimum of 3 years of experience, in a similar manufacturing environment (e.g., aerospace, military/defense, automotive, etc.) is requiredAbility to work with everything from hand sketches to detailed CAD modelsHands-on experience with operation of Signal Generators, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes & Cable HarnessTesters and data acquisition systemsAdvanced schematic interpretationAbility to use precision measuring devicesSolid documentation, organization, attention to detail, and record keepingKnowledge and ability to comprehend engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagramsGeneral understanding of RF, Analog, Digital Circuits in relation to test development; understanding of hardware test requirements for volume manufacturingMust be able to lift up to 35 lbsThis position must meet export control compliance requirements.
