We offer this position in a fast paced, truly global environment with an endless supply of challenges and development opportunities.Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Test Leader to drive our testing strategy, ensure product quality, and lead through all phases of the digital product development lifecycle. As a Test Leader, you will be responsible for defining testing approaches, coordinating test planning and execution, and ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards before release.You’ll work closely with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that testing is an integrated and valuable part of the delivery process.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of testers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and schedules for projects.Oversee test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.Ensure alignment of testing activities with business requirements and project timelines.Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify risks and ensure test coverage.Manage test environments, data, and tools.Drive automation initiatives and encourage efficient testing practices.Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and tools.Report on quality metrics and testing progress to management.Act as a single point of contact for QA matters with ROSS, INGKA, and Inter IKEA.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience in software/digital product testing, including at least 3 years in a leadership or coordination role.Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing.Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, Selenium, Xray, Playwright, Cypress, Zephyr, or similar.Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks as well as performance, security, or API testingExperience from IKEA Retail and Supply Development is preferred.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and the INGKA Retail logistics modules is preferredExcellent communication and leadership skills.Personality & Soft SkillsWe’re looking for a Test Leader who is:Detail-oriented and analytical, with a passion for quality.Proactive in identifying risks and driving improvements.Empathetic and supportive, fostering team growth and collaboration.Strong in communication, able to bridge technical and non-technical discussions.Organized, able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Adaptable, embracing new technologies and methodologies.Additional InformationDoes this sound like your next challenge?We look forward to receiving your application in English and we only handle applications sent in via our recruitment system.
