Job Title: QA Engineer / Test EngineerJob Type : FulltimeLocation: Austin, TXJob SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented QA/Test Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing, basic automation, and a strong understanding of QA processes.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute manual test cases and report defects with clear documentation.Participate in functional, regression, integration, and system testing.Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and clarify expected behavior.Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test documentation.Perform root-cause analysis on issues and assist in troubleshooting.Support basic automation scripts or tools (optional/plus).Track defects using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.Ensure adherence to QA processes and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).1–3 years of hands-on experience in software testing.Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.Experience with test case management and defect-tracking tools.Familiarity with web and mobile application testing.Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, TestNG, or similar) is a plus.Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
