Proofreads demographics and makes corrections as needed. Meets strict deadlines and daily quotas. Supports to ensure a healthy and safe workplace. Other duties as assigned. Must be able to work Saturday's and/or state holidays as determined by the agency or supervisor.

Essential Job Functions (EJFs)Enters complex patient, specimen and test information into the Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) computer system. Process a minimal of 210-450 submission forms daily. Enters 80 submission forms per hour. Meets work deadlines. Permits no more than eighteen documented entry errors per year. Performs tasks according to the Standard Operating Procedural (SOP) manual. (40%)Prints patient and specimen demographics and verifies all information entered on no less than 210-450 forms per day. Edits information entered incorrectly and releases work, same day. Process submission forms for archiving.

Permits no more than eighteen documented errors of miss-caught information per year. Performs all tasks according to SOP manuals. (40%)Performs extra duty functions for each Program. (10%)Completes other duties as assigned. Other duties participation may require an alternate shift pattern assignment and/or location. (5%)Supports the creation of a laboratory-wide safety culture by serving as a liaison to the Safety Office to ensure a healthy and safe workplace.
