The Master Production Scheduler plays a critical role in enabling flow, improving responsiveness, and ensuring reliable delivery to customers. This individual is responsible for developing and maintaining the integrated production schedule across key operations, ensuring that products are delivered On Time In Full (OTIF) while supporting Lean principles of flow efficiency and waste reduction. This role will lead the scheduling process with a clear focus on customer satisfaction, enabling Texmo Blank to achieve benchmark lead-times and strengthen our market position.
The Master Production Scheduler will work cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, quality, and commercial teams to ensure alignment between demand, capacity, and material availability. The Master Production Scheduler will play a central role in enabling Texmo Blank to deliver quality, speed, and value at the highest level. Key Responsibilities: Integrated Production Scheduling & Planning Develop and maintain the master production schedule to align customer demand with capacity and material availability.
Drive flow efficiency by sequencing operations to minimise waiting, transport, and excess inventory while maintaining OTIF performance. Translate sales forecasts and customer orders into executable plans across multiple production stages. Ensure visibility and communication of schedule updates, changes, or risks across relevant stakeholders. Operations Planning & SOFP ProcessLead the Operations Planning component of the Sales, Operations & Financial Planning (SOFP) process, ensuring capacity and supply are aligned to forecasted demand. Collaborate with Sales/Commercial, Engineering, and Operations teams to identify gaps, constraints, and opportunities in future load vs. capacity scenarios.
Provide clear and actionable output to leadership on constraints, risk mitigations, and long-range planning assumptions. Ensure operational readiness to meet customer expectations, factoring in lead times, inventory strategy, and demand volatility. Lean Scheduling & Flow ManagementApply Lean principles to optimise scheduling processes, eliminate waste, and ensure smooth product flow through operations. Use pull systems, takt time alignment, and visual management techniques to synchronise workflow with customer demand. Identify and remove barriers to flow, actively supporting operations in achieving stable and predictable output. Customer Focus & Delivery PerformanceEnsure OTIF delivery performance meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Act as a central point of coordination to resolve scheduling conflicts that may impact customer delivery or product quality. Support initiatives to shorten lead times, improve flexibility, and enhance the overall customer experience. Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with operations, procurement, planning, and commercial teams to balance supply and demand across sites. Provide input into capacity planning, material planning, and inventory management decisions. Escalate critical risks and drive cross-functional alignment to recover delivery schedules where required. Continuous Improvement & SystemsLead or support scheduling-related improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving and data analysis.
Ensure master data accuracy in planning systems and support the implementation of ERP/MRP enhancements. Develop and report key scheduling and delivery KPIs, driving continuous improvement through root cause identification and resolution. Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, or a related field. Substantial experience in production planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment, ideally in precision or contract manufacturing. Deep understanding and experience in Lean principles, particularly in relation to flow, takt, pull, and waste elimination. Proven ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in ERP systems and scheduling tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions. Fluent in English & Romanian; confident working with international teams and customers.
