Zimmermann is a leading luxury fashion brand recognised for its sophisticated design, and refined femininity. We are seeking a Textile Pre-Production Manager to join our Design Studio team, to oversee our technical textile design process, ensuring the seamless delivery of production artwork across Ready-to-Wear and Swim & Resort collections.The Textile Pre-Production Manager will lead and mentor the technical textile design team, owning the end-to-end production artwork process and ensuring artwork is accurately translated onto fabric. The newly created role is integral to ensuring our signature prints and textiles are translated seamlessly from concept to production.As a Textile Pre-Production Manager, your key responsibilities will include:Ensure on-time delivery of all production artworks in line with design and production critical paths.Maintain accuracy, quality, and brand consistency across all final artworks.Plan and manage critical paths and resources to meet deadlines across multiple product lines.Interpret and apply design direction from Senior Design Directors to deliver precise graded artworks.Record all style and artwork details accurately in PLM and brief suppliers clearly on artwork grading approaches.Develop artwork solutions in response to feedback, demonstrating initiative and creativity.Review SMS garments promptly to identify and resolve potential production issues early.Proactively manage bulk artwork translation issues by reviewing fabric strike-offs and size sets.Provide clear and constructive feedback on bulk artworks to ensure efficient production workflows.Maintain and organise pattern and artwork libraries for easy access by all stakeholders.What you will bring to the roleExpert knowledge of garment construction, artwork setup, and manufacturing processes.Strong understanding of textiles, fabric properties, and production requirements.Highly organised, detail-driven, and deadline-focused with excellent time management.Clear and open communicator who builds positive stakeholder relationships.Analytical thinker with efficient problem-solving skills; calm and composed under pressure.Practical, logical, and proactive approach with forward-thinking solutions.Confident user of Excel and Microsoft Office; experienced with WIPs, trackers, and PLM systems (advantageous).Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) with exceptional attention to detail and technical accuracy.CLO 3D software experience highly desirable.Self-motivated and proactive, thriving both independently and in collaborative team settings.Why work with usBespoke development plans and access to strong mentors and industry leadersOngoing Training & Development to grow your career within ZimmermannGenerous Employee DiscountOpportunity to progress your career within an Australian global luxury brand, including international opportunitiesWork with high-end fashion and alongside fellow passionate and dedicated Zimmermann team membersOnly short-listed applicants will be contacted.Zimmermann is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment on the basis of their individual capabilities and qualifications ensuring a strong corporate commitment to diversity and inclusion.
