Our client is a Bulgarian manufacturing company specializing in fresh dairy products. On their behalf, we are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Quality Manager to join their team in a leading food production facility. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards across all company operations, including full oversight of our in-house laboratory. Key Responsibilities: Manage and control the quality management system (QMS) in compliance with industry standards including IFS, BRC, and other relevant certifications.
Lead and develop the quality control laboratory team, ensuring testing protocols and procedures meet regulatory and internal standards. Coordinate internal and external audits, follow up on non-conformities and implement corrective actions. Ensure full traceability, quality documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives across production lines. Act as the main liaison for quality-related communication with customers, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Requirements: University degree in Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or other relevant scientific discipline. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a quality management role in a food production company.
Proven track record in managing and maintaining certifications such as IFS, BRC, and other food safety standards. Demonstrated experience in team leadership and staff development. Excellent command of written and spoken English is mandatory. Key Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and high level of responsibility.
