ResponsibilitiesLead or participate in the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers (physical and virtual), storage systems, and network platforms, ensuring alignment with business needs and branch standardsAdminister and maintain core infrastructure components, including Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, email systems, virtualization platforms, cloud platforms and storage solutions, with a strong focus on performance, availability, and securityEnforce data protection principles by ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and information through regular system reviews, security patching, and hardening practicesSupport enterprise applications such as Core baking & Payment, SWIFT, MEPS+, and Bank inhouse applications, ensuring reliable system access and resolving infrastructure-related issues affecting these platformsProvide Level 1 and 2 support for infrastructure issues, including server outages, system performance degradation, and hardware failures; conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measuresManage relationships with telecommunication and infrastructure service providers, coordinating activities such as service provisioning, infrastructure upgrades, and incident resolutionPlan and support Disaster Recovery (DR) infrastructure, including DR server setup, replication, testing, and activation during live failover scenarios to ensure business continuityRequirementsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology or a related discipline from a recognized university or polytechnicMinimum of 5 years’ experience in an IT infrastructure support role, preferably within a banking or vendor environment, with hands-on expertise in network and/or server administration and supportStrong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure systems, including Windows Server OS, Red Hat Linux OS, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, VMware, network switches and routers, and AS400 systemsProficient in middleware platforms, such as IBM MQ, web servers (e.
g.
, Apache, IIS), and Microsoft 365 serviceSkilled in IT automation and scripting, leveraging tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, or similar platforms to streamline infrastructure deployment, patching, and routine administrative tasksSolid understanding of cybersecurity practices, including system hardening, vulnerability management, and implementation of security controls aligned with industry standardsExperienced in project management methodologies, with the ability to lead and deliver infrastructure and security projects effectivelyDemonstrated expertise in vendor management, including evaluating, onboarding, and managing third-party service providers to ensure performance, compliance, and alignment with organizational goalsRelevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNP, CISM, VMware and Cloud related are highly desirable and reflect technical competency
