Job DescriptionJob descriptionThe Beringer Law firm has an immediate opening for a paralegal position. Experience in Family Law is highly preferred. The attorneys in our office each handle a considerable amount of litigation and rely on their support staff. We work collaboratively and closely with one another. We hope to find a self-motivated individual who works well as part of a team. This is an in-office position. ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include: Assisting with drafting pleadings Drafting preliminary and final disclosures Litigation support, including the creation of hearing binder and trial binders Trial Preparation:
Organizing and preparing exhibits, witnesses Assisting with discovery drafting, discovery responses, subpoenas Manage calendaring of deadlines and important dates Direct communication with clients Tracking and billing time Mediation Support: Preparing briefs, working with clients and lawyers This is an in-person position and we are not currently offering remote positionsQualificationsThe basic qualifications include: Paralegal Certificate High school diploma or equivalency (associates or bachelors a plus) Family Law experience preferred Excellent skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
