About The ClientThe Catalyst Group is hiring a Head of Human Resources for a large school network in Punjab. About The RoleThe Head of Human Resources will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and the Human Resources Committee of the Board. This role will be responsible for leading the HR function to support the company's long-term strategic direction, drive organisation development, and enable a high-performance culture aligned with company values and growth ambitions. The position will also ensure robust systems for talent development, succession planning, and operational HR excellence.

ResponsibilitiesStrategic HR LeadershipSupport the CEO and HR Committee in long-term HR planning (57 years horizon)Contribute to the strategic direction of the business through HR initiativesSet and monitor human resource objectives aligned with business goals Prioritise HR investments and link HR outcomes to business resultsOrganisational Development & CultureLead the design and implementation of performance development, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning frameworksDrive initiatives to enhance leadership effectiveness and foster a constructive work cultureOversee the development and implementation of HR policiesEnsure functional leaders align with HR frameworks in people management.

HR Planning & Talent DevelopmentEstablish talent management, career progression, and potential assessment systemsDevelop and execute formal succession plans for key positionsMonitor and strengthen the organizations talent pipeline across all levels.

Change Management & Organisation DesignAdvise leadership on culture, structure, roles, and capability requirementsLead change management and organisation design efforts using formal methodologiesOperate and manage job evaluation systemsRecruitment & Workforce PlanningDefine recruitment strategy, objectives, and talent sourcing approachesDevelop effective selection and assessment processesAnalyse the external talent market and improve recruitment operationsLearning & Capability BuildingBuild and execute a business-aligned learning and development strategyDesign and deliver impactful learning programs and foster a learning culturePerformance ManagementDevelop and manage the Performance Development Process (PDP)Identify key performance indicators and design relevant processesFacilitate performance coaching and employee engagement initiativesCompensation & BenefitsAnalyse market trends and design competitive compensation systems.

Implement reward structures that attract, retain, and motivate high performers. RequirementsA university degree from a recognised institution, ideally in HR, Business, or related fieldsPractical understanding of management accountability levels and human dynamics in organisational contexts15+ years of professional experience in an industrial company (preferably FMCG)At least 10 years of focused HR experience, with proven exposure to other business functions being a plusStrong business acumen with an understanding of P&L and balance sheetsAbility to influence and challenge senior leaders constructivelyProven ability to align HR strategies with short-term and long-term business outcomes
