Job Description

Job DescriptionOur purpose is to help students deepen their conversion to Jesus Christ and His restored gospel, to qualify for the blessings of the temple, to prepare for missionary and Church service, and to build the kingdom of God. Church Schools provide students with an opportunity to obtain knowledge and skills that will assist them in their future educational and career endeavours. ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibility of this role is to deliver high quality theoretical and practical instruction to students.

The successful applicant will assess student learning and evaluate performance using established criteria and maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress in school databases. He or she will also participate in or lead in extracurricular and after-school programs as needed. QualificationsESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Temple-worthy and committed to upholding Church values and standards A bachelor’s degree / Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering/ Teaching certificate Strong understanding of Electrical Engineering principles and curriculum Minimum of 2 years teaching experience Proven ability to motivate students and enhance learning outcome Skilled in implementing assessment strategies to support student growth Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI) practices High level English language proficiency (verbal and written) Basic to intermediate computer literacy Police clearance is required Note: Only those with current legal authorization to work in Tonga may apply for this position.
