The Fleet Hotel is synonymous with local Dublin history, before becoming the Fleet Hotel, 19/20 Fleet Street was home to Bewley’s Café which was established by Ernest Bewley in 1905.
Bewleys were known to be one of the finest Tea Houses in Europe and a favourite with Dubliner’s for generations. Job SummaryThe receptionist is responsible for providing administrative support across the organization. This role involves welcoming guests and clients, managing front desk operations, handling phone calls, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure efficient daily operations. Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk Management: Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner. Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls. Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials (e. g. , pens, forms, brochures).
Administrative SupportReceive and sort daily mail and deliveries. Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges). Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments. Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary. Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing. Customer ServiceAddress and resolve basic inquiries and concerns from visitors and clients. Provide accurate information about the organization and its services. Complete check in/out protocolCommunicationCommunicate with other departments to ensure smooth operations. Update calendars and schedule meetings as needed.
