Key Responsibilities: System Monitoring and MaintenanceMonitor real-time trading systems to ensure smooth operations. Oversee system performance and take action on alerts or anomalies. Manage incident response and escalate issues appropriately. Incident & Problem ManagementLead resolution efforts for outages or system failures. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Maintain documentation and post-incident reviews. Change ManagementCoordinate system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes. Ensure minimal disruption during deployment and maintenance windows. Work closely with development and QA teams to schedule and test changes. Business Continuity and Disaster RecoveryEnsure proper DR procedures are in place and tested regularly.
Participate in business continuity planning and simulations. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Certifications (optional but valued): ITIL Foundation or IntermediatePMP or similar project management certificationCISSP (for security focus)Experience: 7–10+ years in critical IT operations, preferably in financial markets or exchanges. Deep understanding of electronic trading platforms and high frequency systems. Key Skills: Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems/TIBCOExperience with monitoring tools Scripting and automation (e. g. , Python, Bash)Understanding of FIX protocols, market data feeds
