Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately post all financial transactions to the general ledgerReview and reconcile balance sheet accounts, maintaining proper documentationEnsure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulationsAssist with preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsSupport month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysisPrepare and review accruals, prepayments, and other period-end adjustmentsPrepare financial reports (Balance sheet, P&L) and provide variance analysisSupport audits, tax filings, and other financial reporting requirementsMaintain effective internal controls and support external auditsSet up and conduct credit checks on customersIdentify and implement process improvements in accounting and reportingCollaborate with other finance functions to ensure data accuracy and completenessWhat We’re Looking ForAccounting qualification with experience in general ledger accounting or a similar roleProven experience in month-end and year-end close processesFamiliarity with accounting software (Sage X3), Procurement system (Procure Wizard) and advanced Excel skillsStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
