Job DescriptionAre you a transformative, dynamic and kind service design leader with a strategic approach and superb communication skills?We are looking for an experienced service design leader for a pivotal new-established role building and leading the service design capability within our Consumer and Marketing Technology (CMT) digital product clusters. The role will be a key strategic partner to bring clarity to problems to be solved and facilitate decision-making for a variety of complex product landscapes.

The role will build up and lead a dedicated team of service designers through empathy, strong functional skills and the ability to navigate the unknown. The role can be based in Billund or Copenhagen. Core ResponsibilitiesBuild and lead a new-established service design function within the Consumer and Marketing Technology Design organization. Bring clarity to complex product landscapes by understanding as is processes and creating to-be state through insights based on user pain points, needs and business requirements.

Artefacts include service design blue prints, user segments and recommendations for senior partner decision-makingEstablish and drive the integration of service design input and outcome within the product and programme processes across multiple landscapes. Collaborate closely with senior partners across engineering, product and business to create the best possible product outcome.

Evangelize and influence the strategic impact of service design across The LEGO GroupAs part of the CMT Design leader team, build a design culture and community of openness and trust, care and empathy, focus on people growth, bringing fun and creativity in play everydayPlay your part in our team succeedingThe newly created role will be part of CMT Digital Product Design department in Consumer and Marketing Technology (CMT)CMT creates internal facing products such as digital products enabling model designers to create models, product lifecycle management, the digital asset and content pipeline, marketing engagement products alongside consumer facing digital products such as LEGO® Play, LEGO® Builder, LEGO® Ideas to name a few.

CMT Digital Product Design consists of 50+ designers covering design disciplines (user research, service design, UX and UI) across the entire development process from discovery to delivery. The role will be part of the CMT Design leadership team and will refer to the Head of CMT Design. Do you have what it takes?Some years' experience building up service design capabilities and leading a service design teamExtensive experience working in a digital organizationProblem solver. Demonstrated successful impact of service design for large scale and complex product landscapesBest in class communicator.

Proven ability to communicate strategic direction, facilitate and impact decision-making, drive engagement and build relationshipsExceptional collaborator. Excel driving a cross-functional broad approach and one team mentalityStructural Enthusiast. Ability to establish and bring structure and process into both existing and new ways of workingEmpathetic people leader.
