POSITION PURPOSE The position has two key areas of focus: Lead a team of experienced Marketing and Social Media Managers to deliver highly effective strategies for our clients. Identify and execute strategies to grow the number of clients in your Team. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Clients • Develop a business plan to grow your team. • Identify and develop network referral groups. • Actively prospect and network for new business opportunities. • Assess and meet with new business prospects to evaluate fit. • Prepare client proposals using our templates. • Lead new client kick-off sessions and onboarding.
• Work with Marketing Managers to develop and present strategies to clients. • Meet clients monthly to discuss ongoing marketing performance. • Be available for key meetings/discussions regarding client social media activities. Team • Identify and interview prospective new team members. • Onboard new team members using our automated system. • Ensure all Marketing Managers are using our systems and following our processes. • Meet in person once a month to discuss client work. • Provide additional email and phone support as required. • Organise quarterly team training and social catchups. • Encourage your team to participate in company-wide discussions and problem-solving.
• Share industry news and inspiration with the team. • Identify new suppliers and opportunities. Admin • Complete monthly invoicing and payroll reports. • Actively support and promote The Marketing Room in the market (in person and on social channels). • Provide feedback to COO to improve our offering to clients and team members, including processes, documents, and systems. • Stay updated with industry trends. • Play an active role in the leadership team. • Update CRM. CAPABILITY PROFILE Interpersonal Skills • Ability to lead a diverse team working part-time and across different locations. • Expertise in identifying and building referral network groups.
• Methodical approach to processes with a strong ability to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and colleagues effectively. • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. • Positive and friendly attitude with a focus on relationship-building. Work Experience • Senior Sales/Business Development/Partnerships Management experience. • Senior Marketing role, ideally with experience in managing client marketing strategies. • Senior Agency or Media Sales experience. Education • A degree in a Business-related field is encouraged. Licences • Current Driver’s Licence.
