The ideal candidate will be smart, articulate, proactive, and capable of leading a team of QA/QE engineers while contributing to the technical work. You'll play a critical role in shaping and executing the quality strategy for complex applications. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of QA and QE engineers, including performance reviews, mentoring, and workload distributionBe hands-on with automation frameworks, test script development, and defect triaging as neededDefine and implement quality assurance strategies and best practicesCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps, product, and project managementRepresent the QA function in client meetings and provide clear, confident updates and insightsDesign, develop, and maintain scalable automation test suites for web, API, and backend testingEnsure full test coverage through functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testingSupport CI/CD pipeline integration and continuous testing practicesRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field12+ years of total QA experience with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or lead roleStrong hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similarProficient in scripting languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, or JavaSolid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processesExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments and with CI/CD pipelines (e. g.
, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact confidently with clients and stakeholdersStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindsetAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications: Exposure to cloud environments like AWS or AzureKnowledge of performance, security, or mobile testing is a plusExperience in regulated industries (Finance, Healthcare, etc. ) is advantageous
