The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to pioneer innovative value chain solutions for commodities such as eatable oil refining, particularly soil oil, rice, beans, and cooking oil, contributing to the economic development of Myanmar while ensuring sustainability and long-term impact. Core responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic vision for the agriculture sector, with a focus on creating efficient and sustainable value chainsOversee the setup and optimization of value chains for key agricultural products, ensuring alignment with local and international market demands and company objectivesDrive excellence in trading, logistics, distribution, and manufacturing operations to enhance efficiency and profitabilityEstablish and nurture partnerships with farmers, suppliers, distributors, and other stakeholders to strengthen the agricultural ecosystemIdentify and implement innovative practices and technologies to enhance productivity, sustainability, and competitivenessBuild organizational capabilities to support long-term growth, operational excellence, and talent developmentResponsible for achieving key performance metrics such as revenue growth, market share expansion, and operation efficiencyCollaborate with the leadership of the Group company to align sector goals with the overall corporate strategy and leverage group synergiesStay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and global dynamics affecting the agriculture industryQualification & Experience:
Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in the agriculture sector (eatable oil refining: particularly soil oil, rice, beans, or cooking oil company), with a focus on trading, logistics, distribution, and manufacturingDemonstrated success in designing, implementing, and managing value chains for agricultural products such as rice, beans, and cooking oilProven ability to create and execute strategies that drive growth, sustainability, and profitabilityStrong leadership skills with a history of building and leading high-performance teamsIn-depth understanding of agricultural markets, production trends, and consumer demands, particularly in South East AsiaPreferred Skills:
Expertise in supply chain optimization and sustainable farming practicesStrong financial acumen, including budget management and performance analysisExperience collaborating with government agencies, NGOs, and international organizations for agricultural developmentFamiliarity with modern agricultural technologies and digital tools to enhance operations
