The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the marketing campaigns of the assigned movie titles and franchises, from formulating the overall strategies to execution to achieve the marketing and business goals. The Marketing Manager will be supported by other marketing and publicity members of the Integrated Marketing team and needs to work closely with internal and external stakeholders. Candidates with more experience may be considered for Senior Marketing Manager. Responsibilities:
Leads and oversees the marketing campaigns for assigned theatrical movie releases, Disney+ streaming content and studio franchise marketing campaignsDevelops marketing strategies and detailed plans for the above and follow through in the execution in all marketing aspects, including creative, localization, media buy, publicity, tie-in promotions, synergy and eventsSupervises and liaises with agencies and vendors on media buy, creative, production, PR, events, digital marketing to execute the marketing plans with the support of other members of the team Liaises with regional/ Burbank’s on marketing, PR and tie-in promotion issues Drives, manages and supervises tie-in promotions (including pitching, negotiation and project management) Drives, manages and supervises synergy promotions with different business units including Parks & Resorts, Consumer Products, publishing, digital platforms and corporate communications Manages other ad hoc projects or franchise marketing activities as assignedRequirements:
Degree holders in the field of marketing, business, communications or related disciplines Minimum 8-10 years of working experience preferably in marketing, event management, advertising, media, publicity or communication (candidates with more experience may be considered for Senior Marketing Manager)Excellent spoken and written Chinese and English Able to work independently and under pressure, creative, open-minded, responsible, mature, diligent, well-organized and a good team player
