The key role of the Technical Operator is to work closely with operator teams to deliver product right first time to target performance levels in a safe and clean environment. To achieve this the Technical Operator must ensure the efficient operation of respective areas and play an active role in controlling the process. The Technical Operator will be responsible for carrying out a number of everyday operational core tasks within the process area. These tasks will include:
Operation of process machinery and equipment Carry out material handling and control tasks Carry out basic & advanced running adjustments to plant as required Carry out hourly OEE% performance management (based on plan, do, check and act) Perform/assist with all levels of changeovers Assist with all breakdowns as required Perform cleaning to machinery and equipment Ensure housekeeping and GMP procedures are adhered to Complete quality checks and records Record, analyse and act on process data as required Start and shut down plant in a safe manner Enter data into VQMS system where required Perform some PPM activities and update records Active involvement with Continuous Improvement activities Some coaching and training of other operators or new employees Entering data into VQMS system where requiredWe're proud to offer:
