We’re seeking a dynamic Area Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple gastro-bars, ensuring each venue delivers outstanding customer experiences, maintains operational excellence, and meets financial targets. You’ll be the driving force behind team development, brand consistency, and community engagement. Key Responsibilities: Venue Oversight: Manage operations across several gastro-bars, ensuring smooth service, atmosphere, and compliance. Leadership & Coaching: Support and mentor managers and staff, fostering a culture of hospitality and accountability. Customer Experience: Champion high standards of service, ambience, and guest satisfaction. Sales & Profitability: Monitor KPIs, control costs, and implement strategies to boost revenue and margins.
Stock & Supplier Management: Oversee stock control, attend monthly stock take meetings, liaise with suppliers, and ensure quality and consistency in food and beverage offerings. Licensing & Compliance: Ensure all venues adhere to licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies. Local Engagement: Build relationships with local communities, event organisers, and tourism bodies to enhance pub visibility and footfall. Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience managing multiple pub venues or hospitality sites (3+ years preferred). Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent understanding of pub operations, licensing, and customer service. Financial acumen and ability to interpret performance data.
Full driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites.
