Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic General Manager Operations to lead and optimize the operational functions in the Pharmaceutical Division. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and executing operational strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring smooth demand planning, import logistics, procurement, general administration, central warehouse management, and distribution operations.
The role also involves maintaining strict compliance with regulatory requirements, managing facilities and fixed assets, and fostering collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement operational strategies in line with the company’s overall business objectives. Oversee demand planning, import logistics, procurement, and general administration of the pharmaceutical division. Manage central warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with government regulations and principal requirements. Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Ensure effective compliance management with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
Lead the management of facilities and fixed assets to support smooth operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve seamless operational outcomes. Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the operations team to deliver business objectives. Personal ProfileBachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional qualification. Minimum 10 years of experience in Operations Management, preferably within the Pharmaceutical industry. A Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent is preferred. Strong business acumen with proven success in managing complex business operations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
