Work ScheduleStandard (Mon-Fri)Environmental ConditionsOfficeHow you will make an impact: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support the Laboratory Products (LP) and Country Key Accounts Management team (KAM). This role will be involved in business partnering with commercial teams (Equipment, Plastics, Country Key Accounts) and regional/country finance teams, in support of financial planning and analysis efforts. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities and a passion for operational excellence in a dynamic environment. What you will do:

Support weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial processes with a focus on variance analysis, modeling, and reportingProvide validated weekly pulse updates and timely insights for internal and commercial reportingMaintain and update monthly/quarterly forecast templates in alignment with commercial and regional finance timelinesPrepare and manage P&L review including margin and OPEX to support performance visibility and analysis on a monthly basisWork with an accounting team to support month-end closing activities including financial adjustments (FADJ) tracking and assisting with journal entriesAssist in the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Plan (STRAP)Support pricing and backlog analysis to drive margin insightsSupport margin analysis for PPS public tenders and country big dealsSupport financial reporting processes, operational tracking, and system administration to ensure performance visibility and complianceKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, and Business Administration5+ years of direct experience in financial analysis, reporting, and accounting leadershipExperience in working Multi-National companiesExcellent skills with MS Excel & Power Point; preferred skills with Power BI and Cognos preferredGood communication and interpersonal skill with team and other stakeholdersGood written and verbal communication skills in EnglishPunctual in working manner and reportingStrong attention to detail with commitment to providing quality resultsExhibit leadership, initiative, and embody Thermo Fisher Scientific's 4-I values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and InvolvementDedication to continuous learning and professional developmentAbility to balance multiple assignments, exercise good judgment, and prioritize projects and time efficiently
