The OpportunityWe’re looking for a talented and conceptually-driven Art Director to join our creative team. You’ll lead creative work across a range of projects – from high-profile campaigns, experiential activations to digital platforms, microsites, and more.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll guide the visual direction, mentor designers, and collaborate with strategists, producers, developers, and clients to bring bold ideas to life. Your creative vision will help shape the look, feel, and storytelling across projects – whether you're pitching new concepts, refining campaign systems, or leading design teams through execution. What You’ll Be DoingDefine and lead the visual direction for campaigns, brand experiences, digital platforms, and immersive environmentsDevelop and present conceptual ideas and art direction to internal teams and clientsCollaborate with copywriters, strategists, and developers to turn insights and concepts into powerful creativeOversee and guide designers through execution, giving thoughtful and constructive feedbackPush the creative vision of each project from pitch to final deliveryMaintain a strong attention to detail while managing multiple prioritiesStay on top of design trends, emerging tech, and visual culture to inform your workSupport production efforts by creating style guides, specs, and clear design documentationHelp shape Thinkingbox’s creative culture and voice through leadership and mentorshipWhat You’ll Bring5+ years of experience in an agency, studio, or creative environment, with at least 1 year in a leadership or mentorship capacityA strong portfolio that showcases a blend of conceptual thinking, design craft, and digital experienceProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant toolsStrong understanding of UI/UX principles and digital production processesA refined eye for typography, layout, and compositionExcellent communication and presentation skills—confident in articulating your ideas and directionAn entrepreneurial mindset and collaborative approach to problem solvingPassion for innovation, storytelling, and pushing creative boundariesEqual OpportunityHere at Thinkingbox, we are committed to building an environment where our employees continuously feel included, valued and heard.
