JOB MISSIONThe Product Development Assistant, Footwear plays a crucial role in supporting the Product Developer, Footwear in creating the technical blueprint for products, facilitating seamless communication, coordination, and documentation to ensure the smooth execution of product development processes. THE ROLEThe Product Development Assistant, Footwear will be responsible for: 路 Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) containing all the correct and required information for each product and liaising with suppliers when needed. 路 Coding Finished Goods and Raw Materials, ensuring that all products and materials are properly labeled and recorded in our system.
路 Liaising with suppliers to obtain technical information about raw materials and finished goods. 路 Issuing purchase orders for raw materials and finished goods. 路 Managing the shipment of raw material samples from our warehouse to mills and vendors. 路 Supporting the product developer in all activities related to footwear product development and vendors relationship management. SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS路 A minimum of 3 years of experience in Footwear Product Development, preferably in a luxury environment. 路 Motivated self-starter with very strong attention to detail and analytical skills. 路 Excellent communicator; highly organized with time management skills and an appropriate sense of urgency.
路 Ability to work in a team environment, build trusted relationships with internal teams and vendors. 路 Ability to be flexible and adaptable to a changing work environment and being part of a global team. 路 Availability to travel to vendors frequently. 路 Fluent in English & Italian (any other language will be considered a plus).
