Job Title: Rebar Detailer & RebarCAD/SofiCAD TrainerLocation: Chennai / Thiruchengode / Kerala Experience: 2–8 Years Employment Type: Full-Time1. Rebar Detailer – 2D Detailing (RebarCAD/SofiCAD)Key Responsibilities: Prepare 2D rebar detailing drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and placing drawings using RebarCAD or SofiCAD. Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings for rebar detailing. Coordinate with structural engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and quality. Ensure adherence to project specifications, industry codes, and client standards. Review and correct shop drawings based on redlines or quality check feedback. Deliver accurate and timely outputs in line with project timelines. Requirements:
2+ years of hands-on experience in 2D rebar detailing using RebarCAD or SofiCAD. Strong understanding of reinforcement standards (US,UK,Europe). Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 2. RebarCAD/SofiCAD Trainer (Internal Technical Trainer)Key Responsibilities: Conduct structured training sessions for new joiners and junior detailers on RebarCAD or SofiCAD software. Develop training modules, manuals, and best practice guides for rebar detailing processes. Offer technical support and mentoring to the detailing team on software usage and productivity improvement. Assess trainees’ performance and provide continuous learning support.
Stay updated on software updates and new industry standards, incorporating them into training content. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in rebar detailing, with deep expertise in RebarCAD or SofiCAD. Prior experience in training or mentoring team members is preferred. Familiarity with codes and standards (US,UK,Europe). Passion for teaching, guiding, and building technical capabilities within the team. Preferred Qualifications for Both Roles: Civil engineering background (B. E/B. Tech). Strong attention to detail and quality.
