This remote-first role is perfect for someone passionate about creating exceptional employee experiences and who thrives in a collaborative, start-up environment. 📍 Remote-first | Based in Vancouver or Calgary 🗓 14-month contract | 💼 $75–80K 💬 Focus on recruitment, employee experience, & HR operationsResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & OnboardingManage full-cycle recruitment, with a focus on technical roles (ex, software developers);Posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks;Partner with hiring managers to create job postings, interview guides, and selection criteria;Coordinate and deliver onboarding and orientation to ensure new hires are set up for success.
Employee Experience, Engagement & DevelopmentPlan and support engagement activities, events, and recognition programs;Distribute employee surveys, compile results, and assist with action planning;Provide administrative support for performance review cycles;Coordinate training and development initiatives and maintain related documentation. HR Operations, Benefits & ComplianceAdminister employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and responding to inquiries;Maintain accurate employee records in ADP;Prepare employment letters, policy acknowledgments, and personnel files;Ensure HR practices comply with employment legislation and internal policies. Cross-Functional & Event SupportHelp organize and execute in-person company-wide events, managing vendor relationships;Support HR tools, platforms, and laptop inventory management. Skills & Qualifications:
