To oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and safety of all building systems and facilities. The Facility Manager will ensure a smooth, efficient, and cost-effective operation of company properties while maintaining the highest standards of service and compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise all preventive and corrective maintenance activities across HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and civil infrastructure. Lead a team of technicians and external contractors, ensuring performance meets company standards and safety protocols. Develop and manage the annual facilities budget, ensuring efficient control of expenditures.
Ensure the implementation of emergency response procedures and the readiness of all facilities. Plan and implement facility upgrades, renovations, and expansion projects in coordination with relevant departments. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Maintain up-to-date documentation for building systems, permits, and service contracts. Provide regular performance and incident reports to senior management. Ensure all facility operations comply with local authority regulations and industry best practices. Coordinate with vendors and service providers to secure the best value and service levels. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
Minimum of 8 years of experience in facility management or technical maintenance roles, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory position. Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, building management systems (BMS), electrical, and plumbing infrastructure. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of CMMS systems is a plus. Fluent in Arabic (required); good command of English is an advantage. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and meet deadlines. Preferred Certifications (a plus): PMP, NEBOSH, or Certified Facility Manager (CFM)Experience working in the UAE or GCC region is an added advantage.
