Job Opportunity: ESG Consultant – Climate Risk FocusLocation: London/Surrey (Hybrid – 3 days in the office per week)Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 (Depending on Experience)Our client is looking for an ESG Consultant with a strong background in climate risk assessment and management. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on helping businesses understand and respond to climate-related financial risks in line with global disclosure standards such as TCFD and ISSB. Job Responsibilities: Lead climate risk analysis within ESG consultancy projects, advising clients on physical and transitional risks.

Apply frameworks such as TCFD, ISSB, and SASB to support climate risk disclosures and scenario analysis. Develop bespoke climate risk and opportunity assessments aligned with client sector and regulatory needs. Produce ESG and TCFD-aligned reports that clearly communicate risk exposure and mitigation strategies. Work closely with senior stakeholders to integrate climate risk into business strategy and risk management frameworks. Support clients in building climate resilience through data-driven insights and policy recommendations. Maintain strong project oversight, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery across all touchpoints. Professional and Personal Attributes:

Proven experience assessing climate-related financial risks, using tools such as climate models and scenario analysis. Strong knowledge of ESG reporting standards and how they apply to risk disclosure and regulatory compliance. Comfortable working with climate risk data, transition pathways, and stress testing methodologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex risks for diverse audiences.
