TMC Institute, located in Tashkent, is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Lecturer in Investment Market Concepts to join our academic team on a part-time, contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Year 3, Level 6 module BAC6019: Investment Market Concepts, in alignment with the British education system and academic standards set by Cardiff Metropolitan University. ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging lectures and tutorials (1 lecture + 2 tutorials per week). Develop and update the syllabus in accordance with Cardiff Metropolitan University validation requirements. Design, prepare, and update assessments (coursework, assignments, exams).
Participate in marking and grading processes, providing timely and constructive feedback to students. Teach and guide students across key topics, including: Primacy of GDPMonitoring and forecasting of GDPCurrency market mechanicsCurrency valuation and riskBond valuation driversBond yield curve and evaluationEquity researchAbsolute and relative evaluation of equityMaintain academic integrity and contribute to quality assurance processes. Qualifications and ExperienceA Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (PhD preferred). Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in higher education. Proven expertise in financial markets, GDP forecasting, currency mechanics, bonds, and equities. Experience with syllabus design, assessment creation, and marking.
Familiarity with the British or international higher education system is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse student body.
