TOWN PLANNER – INTERN/GRADUATE, PLANNER & SENIOR. Our passion for enhancing community design and development is matched only by our dedication to improving the quality of life in our cities.Join us in building better places to live, work, and thrive!ABOUT THE ROLESAs a member of our planning team, you will be responsible for working with our private and government sector clients on a wide range of planning projects including due diligence investigations and research, scheme amendments (region and local), local structure planning, subdivision, development coordination, and project coordination and implementation. There is a great variety of project types and experiences at Dynamic Planning and every day looks different when working with us. We encourage our planners to be involved in all projects and client liaisons so there are great opportunities to develop close relationships with clients and co-consultants across the range of development sectors.We also promote the opportunity for our planners to enhance their presentation skills by attending and delivering presentations to a diverse range of audiences including government panels, Council’s, Committees and clients.Great team support is offered as well as providing a great level of autonomy for our planners.SELECTION CRITERIA – PLANNER & SENIOR PLANNERThe ideal candidates shall possess the following:Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or a related discipline with preferably at least 1 years’ experience working within Western AustraliaConfident in your knowledge of the WA planning framework and an ability to understand, interpret and communicate plans, policies, guidelines, schemes, and design outcomesA high level of research, analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated experience in project coordination / coordinating processesExcellent communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to effectively negotiate and liaise with stakeholders at high levelsA work ethic focused on teamwork, coupled with strong customer service skills and the ability to operate autonomously with accuracy and efficiencyCurrent WA “A” or “C” driver’s licenceSELECTION CRITERIA – INTERN/GRADUATE PLANNERThe ideal candidates shall possess the following:Currently undertaking a tertiary qualification in Urban and Regional Planning or a related discipline (minimum 3rd year student)Excellent written and verbal communication skills Reliable, trust-worthy, and dependableProactive and committed to learningCurrent WA “A” or “C” driver’s licenceWHAT WE OFFERAt Dynamic Planning, we take great pride in fostering a friendly and family orientated business for both our esteemed employees and valued customers.
