Job DescriptionThis is a full-time trade analyst role based in Singapore to support the growing regional needs. The primary focus is Singapore and Malaysia. The candidate should be highly motivated and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to contribute meaningfully to consulting projects. This role will include routine administrative tasks.Purpose: Research, analyze and report on trade compliance needs. Advise on regulatory matters pertaining to import/export requirements. HS Classification & import requirement determination for ASEAN countries. Support ongoing projects. This role covers Southeast Asia with a primary focus on Singapore and Malaysia.Execute daily operation tasks in accordance with service-level agreements. Assign accurate tariff classification, customs valuation, FTA qualification, PGA requirements, ECCN classification etc. Perform research, analysis and report on global trade related topics. Provide written advice to clients on matters pertaining to Customs & Trade Compliance. The role will also include routine administrative tasks. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned. QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in Supply Chain and Logistics, Business, or International Trade. Prior consulting experience will be viewed very favorablyDemonstrates good judgment, integrity, curiosity, vision, positive attitude & confidence. Possess the ability to evaluate and articulate complex issues effectively. Strong research & analytical skills. Sharp problem-solving skills. Can-do attitude and willingness to learn. Fluent in English; 2nd Asian language is considered an advantage. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Attention to details. Proficiency with Microsoft® Word and Microsoft® Excel. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Ability to manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines and client requirements.
