We support governments, port authorities, and development institutions in designing strategic connectivity frameworks, improving logistics systems, and strengthening infrastructure investment planning across emerging markets.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Trade Corridors & Infrastructure Strategy Consultant to support high-impact advisory work focused on regional trade integration, multimodal infrastructure, and logistics modernization across South Asia. Based in Dhaka, this role is ideal for professionals with experience in transport planning, policy research, or trade facilitation—particularly within the context of BBIN, BIMSTEC, and Indo-Pacific economic corridors.You will contribute to diagnostics, stakeholder reports, and strategic planning for cross-border trade systems and investment strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze logistics infrastructure, port connectivity, and regional trade corridor performance in Bangladesh and neighboring countriesDevelop technical reports, policy briefs, and infrastructure readiness assessments for public-sector and multilateral clientsMap institutional, regulatory, and physical bottlenecks to cross-border movement and trade competitivenessTrack initiatives like BBIN Motor Vehicle Agreement, BIMSTEC connectivity, and Bay of Bengal logistics planningSupport stakeholder consultations, scenario modeling, and investment prioritization frameworksCollaborate with international teams to deliver data-driven insights on regional integration and corridor developmentQualificationsDegree in International Trade, Public Policy, Transport Planning, or Development Economics2–5 years of experience in infrastructure strategy, logistics consulting, or trade facilitationFamiliarity with Bangladesh’s port and inland transport systems, or regional connectivity initiatives, is preferredStrong writing and analytical skills in English; Bengali fluency is a plusExperience working with donor-funded projects, government agencies, or regional development programs is an advantageKnowledge of digital customs, multimodal transport, or ESG-aligned infrastructure is a bonusApplication ProcessInterested applicants should apply via LinkedIn with a CV and short cover letter.
