Trade Marketing Coordinator

Job PurposeThe Trade Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing trade marketing plans and campaigns to drive sales and promote the company's products and brands in the Angolan market. This includes working with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors to marketing strategies, promotions, and events. The Trade Marketing Coordinator also plays a key role in managing the company's trade budget and ensuring that trade marketing campaigns are aligned with the overall sales and marketing strategy.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesChannel customer marketing strategies aligned with brand planning deliver PRA’s commercial goalsContribute to development of customer marketing strategiesImplement parts of customer marketing strategiesAssist in evaluation of customer marketing strategiesProductive relationships with internal and external stakeholders maintainedCoordinate with sales, operations and financeFinance budget managed effectivelyManage costs against approved budgetLocal events and promotions raise the profile of key brandsPlan Local eventsOversee the execution of regional eventsConduct post-event analysis with Area ManagerAdministrative DutiesDraw up event/promotion-specific briefs and budgetsManage and update a POS database and stock control, general supervision of the marketing storeCompile, facilitate processing and filing of pre & post-event documents e.g. quotations, buyer requisitions, LPOs, deliveries, invoices etc.Ensure cordial relationships with service providers / suppliersKey Competencies and ExperienceIndustry knowledge and experience:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field1 to 2 years’ experience in events and/or marketingBudgetingData analysisA valid driver’s licenseWillingness and ability to work in the evenings, nights, weekends when necessarySoft Skills:Verbal and written communication skillsStrong influencing and negotiation skillsExcellent planning and organising skillsStrong IT skills (Microsoft Office, especially Excel)Ability to work under pressureResults orientated and innovative thinkerRelationship buildingTeamworkLanguage: English and Portuguese
