We invest in them through global opportunities, cross-border exposure, and continuous learning, because growing a better business starts with growing our people.Here, your career feeds something meaningful for the planet, people, and generations to come.We are now looking for a Trade Operations Specialist to join our team in Milano, Italy.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure proper execution of contracts and the vessels assigned, including documentation process from contract to final invoice and other related documentsAct as liaison with traders, brokers, port agents at origin and destinations, supervision companies, internal and external clients to ensure the smooth flow of information and execution between departmentsContinuously follow up the status of the vessels and operations/tasks assigned.Timely issuance of shipping documents assigned to operations (i.e., BLs, COO/EUR1/T2L, Official Sanitary certificates, etc.)Documents distribution (issuance and delivery on time) for ensuring a presentation and cash cycle in accordance with the required TATs.Working closely with customers, suppliers, vendors & internal stakeholders to ensure timely & efficient logisticsManage relationships with our 3rd party service providers including warehouse/tank operators, freight forwarders & customs- supervision and port agentsCreate & update the standard operating procedures according to the latest business requirements and ensure our partners adhere to themMonitoring and administrating accounts payables and receivablesMaintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety procedures and regulationsRequirementsBachelor's degree level3+ years of relevant work experienceExperience in vegetable oil and trading practice (e.g. FOSFA, NOFOTA, GAFTA contracts) is preferredKnowledge of import and export proceduresUnderstanding of charter parties, laytime calculation, and shipping models.Proficient with MS OfficeProficient with ERP softwareFluent in English, both written and spokenFluent in Italian, both written and spokenWe OfferAn entrepreneurial and international environment where developing opportunities for growth is valuedLocal and global training & development opportunitiesCompany outings!Meal vouchersMedical PlanLife InsurancePublic transportation costs are fully reimbursed!Please note that we often incorporate an assessment and reference checks in our selection procedures.
